"The school" refers to the
language school at which the course is offered. "The Agency" refers to Learn Languages Abroad Limited. How to register for a course If you have any difficulty with any aspect of the booking procedure, please feel free to contact us. On Line Registration Enter the details requested on the on line Booking Form and click the "Submit" button. 2 Off Line Booking. You may fill in the booking details on screen, print the completed form, sign it, and forward it by post to: Learn Languages Abroad Limited, "Sceilig", Ballymorefinn, Glenasmole, County Dublin. Ireland. Alternatively, send a note to info@languages.ie and we will send you a booking form by post or Fax. Age Limit Participants must be at least 18 years of age. Force Majeure Neither the school not the agency assumes any liability should either be prevented by force majeure, or by any other reason for which it is not responsible, from providing its services. Time Constraints Applications should reach the school agency 6 weeks before the beginning of the course together with the deposit. The deposit is 20% of the course price plus the booking fee. The deposit will be deducted from the total amount payable. Upon receipt of confirmation of the course, the balance of the course fees are payable 30 days before the beginning of the course. Where a booking is made within 6 weeks of commencement of the course, the entire cost of the course must be paid at the time of booking. Note that special booking and payment arrangements apply where the student requires a Visa. See below. Confirmation of Booking Bookings cannot be confirmed until the deposit is paid. Following payment, confirmation will be issued by email, fax or land mail to the participant. Participants should not book flights until written confirmation is received. All the costs of the transfer must be borne by the student.

Learn Languages Abroad Limited "Sceilig", Ballymorefinn, Glenasmole, County Dublin, Ireland. Cancellations: If a cancellation is made more than 21 days before the beginning of the course, the total amount will be refunded less the deposit, which can be credited for a future course within 12 months after the original course starting date. If a cancellation is made less than 21 days before the beginning of the course, 50% of the total cost is retained. If cancellation is made within 3 days of commencement of the course, the entire cost is retained. The same is valid for accommodation fees. Late Arrival If the participant intends to arrive later than on the first day of the course, he or she is obliged to inform the school of this in good time. Without such information, the school is entitled to reallocate the vacancy thus created 5 days after the course has commenced. Changes to Bookings Changes to bookings (e.g. changes to the course dates, the type of course, the type of accommodation) must be submitted to the school at the latest 3 weeks prior to commencement of the course. If this date is not adhered to, the school is at liberty to charge the participant for the costs thereby incurred. Changes to bookings must be confirmed in writing by the school. Modification Should the minimum number of participants required for a specific course exceptionally not be met at the start of the course period booked, the school is entitled to run the course in a modified form. Insurance Neither Learn Languages Abroad Limited nor the School accept any responsibility for loss or injury to students while attending courses. It is a condition of booking that the student, if a citizen of a member state of the European Union, have a valid form E111, and that they take out a travel insurance policy which remains valid for the duration of their stay. Non EU nationals must arrange insurance to cover them against illness, accident and civil liability. Visas return to top return to "deposits" Citizens of member states of the European Union do not require a visa to enter other EU member states. Citizens of other countries should contact the nearest Embassy or Consulate of the country of choice to check the Visa requirements. Certificates of enrolment will only be issued by the schools after a registration has been received and the deposit paid. Where a student is unable to get a Visa, the payment will be refunded, less the registration fee and an administration charge of €200 plus any applicable bank charges. The agency will require proof of refusal of the Visa prior to making any refund.If a student cancels a course following the issue of a Visa, no refund will be made and the agency will advise the appropriate authorities of the cancellation. Accommodation Part Board means bed, breakfast and an evening meal. Full Board means bed, breakfast, an evening meal and a packed lunch. Saturday and Sunday lunches are usually taken with the host families. Class Duration Unless otherwise stated, class duration is 45 minutes. Disputes Any disputes relating to services provided will, where necessary and as a final resort, be heard in the courts of the Republic of Ireland, this being the country where the bulk of the services being provided to clients is carried out.
